We have selected 24 environmental, social and governance internal goals that are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and that we track and review periodically. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their 169 targets show the ambition of the 2030 Agenda to transform the world as part of an action plan in favor of people, the planet, and prosperity. As part of the Hazitek Program, Gamarra participates with different companies and technology centres in Project Hormiga, developing new ways of recovering and reusing foundry sand waste. This is part of our zero waste approach to maximize recycling, minimize waste, reduce consumption and ensure that products are made to be reused, repaired or recycled back into the marketplace.

By partnering with EcoVadis, we have strengthen the social, environmental and economic performance of our supply chain, reducing our collective footprints and strengthening our company impact. This partnership is built on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000.
